Hills/Valley Coalition for Resilient Youth
The Hills/Valley Coalition for Resilient Youth “HVC”
is comprised of parents, community leaders, health care providers,
law enforcement officers, school officials, government leaders from
Hillsdale, Montvale, River Vale, and Woodcliff Lake.
Our Mission is to educate and inform the community-at-large
about how to promote a healthy, safe, and substance-free environment
that encourages the development of a positive lifestyle for our
youth and reduces at-risk teen behavior.
Janice Georgallas is the founder of the Hills Valley Coalition. Janice has served as a volunteer
to the HVC and the Pascack Valley Regional High School District for about 18 years. She received
the State Governor's Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse Community Service Award
in September 2012 for her outstanding service to our organization and to Bergen County.
